Le "Voyage en Arménie et en Perse" is a story published in by the chevalier Pierre-Amédée Jaubert, relating a diplomatic mission carried out between 1805 and 1806 for the account of Napoléon Ier. The book includes a valuable notice by Colonel Trézel on the provinces of the Caspian Sea (Ghilan and Mazenderan) and a detailed map of the route between Constantinople and Tehran
