Abstract

The article presents a brief summary of the Azerbaijani-language newspaper collection preserved at the National Library of Armenia. The history of the beginning of the Azerbaijani-language periodicals is briefly discussed in order to provide a thorough understanding of the material we chose, with a particular focus on those published in Soviet Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. We will focus on the history of Azerbaijani-language periodicals from the 1940s through 1989, which are available at the National Library of Armenia.
