Abstract
The relationship between Turkey and Armenia is defined by deep historical conflict, primarily stemming from the 1915 Armenian Genocide, in which Ottoman forces killed over 1 million Armenians. While Armenia seeks recognition and reparations, Turkey denies the genocide, creating a long-standing diplomatic impasse. Border closures and tensions continue today, often exacerbated by Turkey's support for Azerbaijan
