Abstract
In 1918, after losing 300,000 people to the massacres and forced emigration of more than 1 million people that put an end to Armenia's existence as an independent nation, it was given most-favored nation status by France and England. For the next twenty years, it was looked upon with favor by the League of Nations and its successor organizations, but never a single resolution has ever been passed condemning Turkey for her government's actions against Christians or demanding restitution for their victims
