Abstract

The reader receives the extensive research work of Miklós Gazdovits, who lives in Bucharest, which discusses almost every significant moment in the history of the Armenians of Transylvania (more precisely: Hungarian Armenians). He devotes great attention to mapping their economic role and the extremely significant role they played in the culture of Transylvania. Thus, he does not start his work from the great Armenian settlement of the 17th century, but also takes into account their presence during the Migration Period, so that the reader receives a summary of the historical events in Armenia, the causes and consequences of the dispersion of the Armenians
