    Հունգարիայի ազգային գրադարանի պատմական լուսանկարների հավաքածուները արդեն մի քանի տարի հրապարակվում են առցանց, սակայն այս գործընթացը մի շարք մասնագիտական մարտահրավերներ է առաջացնում փորձագետների համար: XIX դարի լուսանկարների ալբոմնե-րի դեպքում պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնել ալբոմների պահպանմանը, քանի որ տեղեկությունը կարող է անհետանալ առցանց հրապարակման ժամանակ, եթե հրատարակչությունը հաշվի չառ-նի հետազոտողների պահանջները և տարբեր տեսակի աղբյուրները: Հոդվածում ներկայացվում են հետազոտողների պահանջները թվային հրատարակչական ծառայություն ստեղծելիս և բազ-մաթիվ լուսանկարչական ալբոմների առցանց հրապարակման հետ կապված մարտահրավեր-ները: Հոդվածն ընդգծում է օգտատերերի պահանջների կարևորությունը լուսանկարների թվային հրապարակման գործում:

    Thus, the article presents a comprehensive overview of information on the non-book publications of the National Library of Armenia (NLA), including their processing, availability, and the types of non-book materials preserved, as well as electronic resources, both computer and non-computer files. The most important and mandatory fields for non-book publications in the MARC format are also presented. In conclusion, it can be observed that the entry of non-book publications in electronic format presents challenges for a number of libraries. However, article demonstrates the capabilities of the MARC format for non-book publications, detailing the relevant fields and record types.

    Ներկայացված է գրադարանային պրակտիկայում թվային փոխակերպման գործիքների ակնարկ: Համառոտ կներկայացվեն. 1) թվային փոխակերպում հասկացությունը, 2) գրադարանային ոլորտի հետազոտություններում թվային հումանիտար գիտությունների փորձը, 3) տեղեկատվական հիմնական ծառայությունները՝ որպես գրադարանների թվային փոխակերպման գործիքներ, ա) վիրտուալ մատենագիտական օժանդակ գործիքներ, բ) տեքստերի ինտելեկտուալ վերլուծության համակարգեր, գ) ընտրովի տեղեկատվության տարածման ծառայություններ, 4) ներկայացվելու է վերոնշյալ տեղեկատվական ծառայությունների տեսակների համեմատական վերլուծություն՝ ըստ մի շարք չափանիշների, 5) ներկայացվում են գրադարաններում թվային փոխակերպման որոշ հաջողություններ, 6) սահմանված են այս միտումի զարգացման խնդիրները, 7) թվարկված են Ռուսաստանի գրադարաններում թվային փոխակերպման ավելի լայն տարածման հեռանկարները: Ցույց է տրվում, որ հանրային և ակադեմիական գրադարաններում թվային փոխակերպումը հանգեցնում է բազմաթիվ նորամուծությունների, որոնք փոխակերպում են ավանդական գրադարանային ծառայությունները:

    Preserving heritage: exploring Armenian language, history, and culture through rare books at Indiana university libraries

    Հոդվածում անդրադարձ է կատարվում Ինդիանայի համալսարանի գրադարանների հայկական հավաքածուներին` ընդգծելով այդ նյութերի կարևորությունը հայկական մշակութային և պատմական ժառանգության պահպանման տեսանկյունից: Չնայած Ինդիանայի համալսարանում հայագիտության պաշտոնական ծրագրի բացակայությանը` համալսարանի գրադարանում, մասնավորապես «Լիլի» գրադարանում և «Հերման Բ. Ուելս» գրադարանում, պահվում են հայկական արժեքավոր հազվագյուտ գրքեր և ձեռագրեր: Դրանց թվում են այնպիսի նշանակալից կրոնական գրքեր, ինչպիսիք են 1666 թվականի Ոսկանյան Աստվածաշունչը, պատմական ուղեցույցները, վաղ լեզվաբանական ուսումնասիրությունները, Հայոց ցեղասպանության և ԱՄՆ-ի հայկական սփյուռքի վերաբերյալ աշխատությունները: Այս նյութերի մասին իրազեկվածությունը բարձրացնելով՝ փորձ է կատարվում նպաստել դրանց պահպանմանն ու գիտական կիրառմանը հայագիտության ոլորտի մասնագետների կողմից և ոչ միայն։ Սույն հոդվածը կոչ է անում նպաստել գրադարանների և գիտական հաստատությունների միջև ավելի լայն համագործակցությանը՝ ինչպես ԱՄՆ-ում, այնպես էլ արտասահմանում, հայկական մշակութային ռեսուրսների պահպանությունն ու ակադեմիական կիրառումը բարելավելու նպատակով:

    The Armenian four Gospels of 966 - one of the most valuable foreign language manuscripts in the collection of the St. St Cyril and Methodius national library

    Հոդվածում ներկայացվում է Սուրբեր Կյուրեղի և Մեթոդիոսի անվան Բուլղարիայի ազգային գրադարանում պահվող ձեռագրերի հավաքածուի ամենավաղ թվագրված գրքի՝ 966 թվականի հայկական քառավետարանների համառոտ նկարագրությունը։ Ձեռագիրը հանդիսանում է արժեքավոր ժառանգություն բուլղարական և հայկական մշակութային պատմության համար։ Համառոտ անդրադարձ է կատարվում Ասենովգրադի շրջանի Բաչկովո գյուղի մոտ գտնվող Վերափոխման վանքի պատմությունը, որտեղ հայկական քառավետարանը բերվել է հավանաբար 14-րդ դարի երկրորդ կեսին, կամ, ըստ մեկ այլ վարկածի, 17-18 դդ.։ Ներկայացված են նաև Բուլղարիայի հայ համայնքի շահերը վկայող փաստաթղթեր, որոնք հայտնաբերվել են Բուլղարիայի ազգային գրադարանի հավաքածուի ձեռագրերի ցուցակագրումից հետո:

    Библиотечный диалог стран СНГ как площадка для Международного профессионального обмена

    The article describes the implementation of a professional development program for young librarians from the CIS countries, which was implemented with the support of the MFGS in 2023 by the M.I. Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature (Moscow) and the V. Mayakovsky Central City Library (St. Petersburg). The topics and brief content of professional events as part of the program are listed. Its results and significance for the formation and strengthening of the professional community of libraries in the CIS are presented.

    Грамотность и чтение через призму национальной библиотеки Болгарии

    The Bulgarian language was declared official in 893 at the Preslav Council in the presence of Prince Boris-Michael the Baptist and Prince Simeon. If we take this date as a starting point, today it is 1131 years old. The National Library of Bulgaria is named after the creators of the Glagolitic alphabet, Saints Cyril and Methodius. For more than a thousand years, countless pages of biographies, laudatory stories, novels, short stories, poems, verses, dramas, songs, fairy tales, legends, etc. have been written in our language: in all European currents, in all literary genres. It has extolled and will continue to extol the Bulgarian language. In order to study and use it correctly and competently throughout life, the NBKM periodically holds events to help society. It has been the custodian of language, reading and literacy for more than a century and is a modern apostle of knowledge. The report will examine some of these events as examples.

    The article considers methodological recommendations aimed at increasing the efficiency of using electronic resources usage. The methodology covers a set of requirements for studying the information needs of users, assessment and selection of electronic information resources, licensing electronic information resources, organizing access, monitoring and recording statistics on the usage of electronic information resources. It is recommended to use a comprehensive assessment approach to resources, taking into account all aspects of licensing, access, network interaction, pricing, and the use of modern technologies and standards.

    The core concerns of “Ashkhatank” newspaper of Smyrna were issues on national identity preservation in Ottoman Turkey. The periodical intertwined them with Armenian upbringing and national education issues, and national education viewed as a necessary pre-requisite to remain Armenian. The newspaper referred to these issues in the field mostly in the frame of educational and upbringing problems.

    «Արձագանգ» ամսաթերթի մասին

    From 1672 to 1976 in Toronto the AYF “Simon Zavarian” chapter published the “Ardzagank” (Echo) monthly newspaper. The 58 issues were presented in 48 volumes: 8 volumes had two issues and one had 3 issues. Many exceptional articles were published in this monthly, which can still interest not only the readers but also the specialists dealing with issues of the Armenian Diaspora and the press. The rich material presented in this monthly is the diary of five years of the lives of Armenians in Toronto. Many names were immortalized on the pages of “Ardzagang.” Due to their efforts and devotion the publication of the newspaper was realized without paid subscription and sizable financial means. The literary pieces were chosen meticulously from Mesrop Mashtots to Paruyr Sevak, materials representing prominent figures of the world culture and Diaspora, book reviews, interpretations of interesting aspects of local and Armenian life. All issues of the monthly newspaper are notable for their rich content.

    The informational role of museums in the development of education and social communications is of great significance. Based on the results of scientific research, as well as my own studies, I have been able to provide an overview of the museums of Artsakh. However, this information, while systematic, remains incomplete. A comprehensive account is unattainable, as cultural genocide and acts of vandalism were committed in Artsakh on three occasions between the 1990s and 2023, the evidence of which continues to be examined.

    «Գեղարդ» սուրիահայ տարեգիրքի պատմալեզուագիտական արժեւորումը

    In the 1920s, during the early days of community organization, the national and religious structures of the Armenian community in Syria were established with a strong emphasis on writing in Armenian as a vital means of self-organisation and preservation. Alongside the construction of schools and churches, the Armenian community published informational, historical, scientific, literary, and religious daily newspapers, as well as yearbooks, annual reviews, and children’s magazines. These publications nourished the Armenian mind, instilling knowledge and contributing significantly to the historical and cultural life of the community. After Syria gained independence, particularly following the coup of March 8, 1963, a new state decree mandated that only one state newspaper could be published, effectively halting the production of all other newspapers. As a result, many Armenian intellectuals were forced to leave the country. With the reform movement of 1970, some freedoms were gradually restored, including the reprinting of the press. This allowed for the revival of Armenian print media.

By means of experimental methods, the article presents and generalises the peculiarities of the socio-psychological environment of the library. It comprehensively examines the factors influencing the environment and highlights the importance of its formation and management. The goal is to create a comfortable and effective working environment.

    This article examines the libraries and reading rooms in Armenian prisons, focusing on the impact of reading on inmates’ lives. It addresses issues such as library regulations, catalog compilation, book maintenance, librarian duties, and book replenishment, while exploring methods to promote reading among prisoners. The study concludes that assessing the practical benefits of reading for inmates is difficult due to a lack of incentives, supportive conditions, and programs that encourage a reading culture within the prison system.

    Գրիգոր Սկևռացու աղոթքները

    Grigor Archimandrite Skevratsi, a follower of the famous clergyman and theologian Nerses of Lambron, was one of the outstanding public, political and cultural figures of medieval Armenia, who in his literary, cultural, religious, social and pedagogical activities was a worthy disciple of his teacher and carried on the traditions establishedby him. Grigor Skevratsi is a multi-genre author. He wrote in practically every genre of spiritual literature and left a legacy of odes and Church Hymns (sharakan), orations and sermons, exhortations and prayers, interpretations and translations. The current paper presents the prayers of Grigor Skevatsi. His theory of prayer is directly derived from the teaching of the school of Narek Monastery which is evidence of a continuity of tradition. Grigor Skevratsi expressed his views on prayer as the highest moment of spiritual life in a number of works, in the theologicalpoem “Instruction on the true Faith and the Virtuous and Pure Life” (“Khrat” (exhortation) «Բան խրատու վասն ուղիղ հաւատոյ և մաքուր վարուց առաքի-նութեան» («Խրատ»)), sermons, several small and large prayers. Skevratsi's prayers testify to his deep faith and high spiritual level.

    Thus, the concept of museum marketing encompasses a range of practices and decisions aimed at enhancing the appeal of the museum’s services, and ensuring a significant number of visitors. To achieve this effectively, museums must adopt the visitor’s perspective, analyze their needs, and tailor services accordingly. To boost service appeal, museums must respond promptly and accurately to visitors’ inquiries. Consistency in implementing marketing policies is crucial, and their effectiveness should be assessed through both quantitative and qualitative measures.
